Q: WHAT IS PTO?

A:PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. The PTO at Johnson comprises parents who collaborate with staff to provide external support through fundraising, student enrichment, staff appreciation, classroom assistance, and other needs!

Q: WHAT ARE SOME ACTUAL THINGS THAT PTO HAS DONE TO HELP JOHNSON?

A: The PTO provides monetary support by way of teacher grants to help with things they need in the classroom. Here are some of the PTO funded projects & activities planned for the year.

• Field Day
• All Star Games
• Johnson Jam
• BooBash
• Heritage Night
• Steam Events
• Holiday / End of Year party
• Teacher Grants
• Staff Appreciation

Q: WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO IF I "JOIN" PTO?

A: As much or as little as you would like! We are always looking for volunteers to help with the various events and projects but we are just as happy to have you support us from the sidelines!

Q: I JOINED LAST YEAR, DO I NEED TO JOIN AGAIN OR WILL MY MEMBERSHIP ROLLOVER?

A: Every year our PTO resets so you will need to re-join and update your student info.
